Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications (DNV, CARF or others).

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation as directed.
• Document vital signs, I&O and patient data in EMR and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under supervision of RN.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintain supplies, stock nursing area and clean equipment.
