Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED/HSED.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with state registry.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Record blood pressures, temperature, pulse, respiration, intake/output in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum samples and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
