Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for our Float Pool II to support patient care across units, performing vital signs, ADLs, and following care plans under RN supervision.

This full-time night-shift role in Maryland offers per diem status with medical coverage under the Base Plan, eligibility for 403(b), non-rotating shifts, and opportunities for professional development within a faith-based, not-for-profit organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Maryland CNA license active required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• One year of hospital experience and strong computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plans established by the RN and report changes.
• Participate in education programs and professional initiatives.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Adapt to different unit requirements within the Float Pool II.
