Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant to support patient care at Advocate Condell Medical Center. The role entails two 12-hour night shifts per week, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include assisting the RN with daily patient care, taking vital signs, documenting data in EMR, and supporting admissions and discharges under supervision. Required BLS certification within 45 days and Nurse Aide in good standing with the state registry.

Qualifications

• BLS within 45 days of hire as required by AHA.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with state registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, ambulation).
• Measure and document vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Aid in admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Handle patient transports and maintain patient belongings and room setup.
