Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Night Shift Manufacturing Associate for Finishing/Bindery. We'll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment, feed books into machines, and help produce high-quality printed materials on a fast-paced line.

No bindery experience is required—this is a learning role with growth opportunities. You’ll stand on the production floor, lift up to 50 lbs, follow safety procedures, and collaborate to meet daily production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a measuring device.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Take pride in doing quality work and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine
• Pack books into cartons
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation
• Perform hand operations as required
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean
