Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on the nighttime shift. You'll learn to operate high-speed bindery equipment, feed and pack books, and work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

No bindery experience is required—we will train you. The role includes safety procedures, quality inspections, and opportunities to advance within a growing print manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience and training acceptable.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and work orders.
• Basic math and measurement skills, with use of measuring devices.
• Mechanical inclination and comfort with basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials to/from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work with the team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean.
