Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate in finishing/bindery on a nighttime 7p–7a shift. We offer on-the-job training to run high-speed bindery equipment, with emphasis on safe, quality production of books and printed materials.

No prior bindery experience is required; we welcome applicants who can learn and grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Full-time position with overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• No bindery experience required — training provided.
• Experience operating machinery in any industry is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety rules.
• Basic math skills and measuring device use.
• Strong team player with reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Move materials to/from workstation safely.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work with a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean.
