Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on the Night shift (7p–7a). We will train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and help turn books and printed materials into finished products.

No bindery experience is required—training will cover machinery operation, safety procedures, and quality checks as you work to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and maintenance instructions
• Basic math skills and ability to use a measuring device
• Mechanical inclination and ability to use basic tools
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Reliable and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine
• Pack books into cartons
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation
• Perform hand operations as required
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean
