Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for the Finishing/Bindery area on a nighttime shift (7p–7a). You’ll be trained to operate high-speed bindery equipment, feed books, pack outputs, and ensure quality while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

No bindery experience necessary—train you for growth. We’re seeking reliable, team-oriented individuals with basic reading, math, and problem-solving skills who can read instructions and work to daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc).
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and to read/interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and manuals.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a measuring device.
• Basic problem-solving skills; mechanically inclined; read job instructions and measurements.
• Reliable, team-oriented with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Move materials/books safely to/from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work with a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean.
