Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on a nighttime 7p–7a shift. You will be trained to operate high-speed bindery equipment, feed materials, inspect quality, and pack finished products.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and maintenance instructions
• Basic math skills (add/subtract) and ability to use measuring devices
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine
• Pack books into cartons
• Safely move materials to and from workstation
• Perform hand operations as required
• Team-based execution to hit daily production goals
