Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on the nighttime shift 7p–7a. We’ll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to producing books, catalogs, and printed materials.

No bindery experience? We’ll train you. We seek team players with reading skills, basic math, and a commitment to quality. Benefits accrue after 30 days, with overtime and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and manuals.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a measuring device.
• Mechanical inclination and comfort with basic tools.
• Reliable and able to work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Move materials and books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work with a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
