Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on the Night Shift (7p–7a). Training will be provided for operating high-speed bindery equipment.

You will feed, pack, and move books, perform hand operations, and teamwork to hit daily production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. Qualified candidates should be comfortable with reading work orders, basic math, and using measuring devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety rules.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Read and interpret work orders and procedures.
• Mechanical inclination and comfort with basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into high-speed bindery equipment.
• Pack books into cartons and prepare for shipping.
• Move materials safely to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required and maintain quality checks.
• Work as a team to meet daily production goals and safety standards.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
