Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on the Night shift (7p-7a). No bindery experience required—we train you. You will load signatures, pack books, and assist with finishing tasks on high-speed equipment, contributing to daily production goals with a strong safety mindset.

We value reliability, basic math, and teamwork. Candidates should read work orders, follow instructions, and take pride in quality work.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills, able to add, subtract, and use a measuring device
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine
• Pack books into cartons
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation
• Perform hand operations as required
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
