Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on the Night shift in Akron, OH. No bindery experience is required—we'll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to producing books, catalogs, and printed materials.

You will feed books/signatures into machines, move materials, inspect quality, and work with a team to meet daily production goals. Full-time with overtime opportunities and benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• High school Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
