Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate on the nighttime shift (7p–7a) in Ohio. No bindery experience is required—we will train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment.

You will handle books, pack items, and assist with finishing tasks within a fast-paced, team-oriented production floor. We offer comprehensive benefits after 30 days and opportunities to learn skilled equipment, advance your career, and participate in overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry.
• HS diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related training/experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and manuals.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Mechanical inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Move materials and books safely to/from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
