Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safe and Secure Associate in Framingham, MA. The role supports gate security, inventory control, and incident response, with a nightly schedule 10PM-6:30AM Tuesday through Saturday.

You will interact with associates, vendors, and visitors while maintaining safety protocols and security standards. The position requires 1–2 years in a customer service setting, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Manage and properly document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
• Be the face of Carvana to associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers.
• Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and Logistics facility yard and buildings, documenting security or safety concerns.
• Become trained and certified on life saving measures such as first aid, CPR, and AED.
• Partner with Team Lead/Manager to remedy requests for badge creation, CCTV review, and related components.
• Promote an incident-ready focus and understand the Incident Response Protocol.
• De-escalate situations to ensure collaboration with partners and team members.
• Execute Safe and Secure Principles at entrances/exits and use of SAS App and RFID Technology.
• Deliver a service-first approach in all tasks.
• Contribute to Carvana values-based culture and knowledge sharing across the organization.
