Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech Flatbed to provide best-in-class roadside solutions for members. You will respond to service requests within ETA, assess safety on arrival, and perform minor mechanical work and towing as needed.

Requires high school diploma or GED, automotive training, and valid driver’s license. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement. Must be able to work nights and weekends as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity with electrical troubleshooting.
• Active and valid driver’s license required.
• DOT card pre-hire and within 1 year for current employee.
• Satisfactorily pass motor vehicle record check during pre-hire and periodically.

Responsibilities

• Accepts calls and responds to Dispatch or members with ETA and location.
• Provides safe on-site mechanical assistance and towing per policy.
• Tows vehicles to repair facilities if needed and promotes AAA products and services.
• Maintains professional image and ensures safety for members and vehicle.
