Qualifications

• Current CNA Certification in the state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CNA certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing Course.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, water and comfort measures.
• Report changes in patient condition and document findings promptly; collaborate with RN.
• Transfer medications between delivery system and RN; coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• May perform telemetry duties and act as health unit coordinator as required.
