Job summary

Intermountain Health Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch, Utah is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team in delivering compassionate, safe care. This role may also assume Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities and requires collaboration with RNs and other staff.

The position is PRN with shifts days/nights, weekends, and holidays, and requires CNA certification and BLS. Strong computer literacy and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in state of practice and active license.
BLS for healthcare providers.
Demonstrated basic computer literacy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide basic patient care including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
Document patient care findings and data timely.
Monitor patient condition and seek assistance as needed.
Assist with telemetry and coordinate with RN and care team.
Transport medications to RN on unit.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
