Job summary

You will support a diverse medical and orthopedic patient population, with a typical PCT-to-patient ratio of 8–9:1, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, mobility, comfort).
• Report changes in patient condition promptly and document findings.
• Possibly perform telemetry duties and act as patient care attendant on unit.
• Transport medications to RN as required and coordinate with care team.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator duties (phones, orders, unit records, supplies).
