Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Grand Junction, CO, to support the patient care team at St. Marys Regional Hospital. The role involves basic patient care, documentation, telemetry support, and potential health unit coordination under supervision.

Requirements include a Colorado CNA license and BLS certification, plus strong communication and computer skills. This is a full‑time night shift with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado CNA certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation, and comfort measures.
• Document and report patient care findings promptly to the RN.
• Monitor and assist with telemetry as required and collaborate with the care team.
• Transcribe orders and assist with unit coordination if needed.
• Maintain unit records and supplies, ensuring safety and proper handling of equipment.
