Job summary

The Home Depot in Decatur, AL is seeking a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT). This role provides hands-on exposure to nightly freight operations, safety, and customer service within a large home improvement retailer.

During the up-to-6-week training, you will work with Store Manager, ASMs, NRMs and field teams to learn SOPs, scheduling, stock management, and performance feedback.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and legal right to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight freight operations and SOP adherence.
• Lead customer service and associate engagement across the store.
• Manage openings/closings as MOD and enforce safety protocols.
• Support merchandise placement, inventory integrity, and stock control.
• Participate in a structured 6-week training to prepare for ASM role.
