Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an aspiring Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience in retail operations. The program includes mentorship, leadership development, and exposure to Manager on Duty duties while focusing on overnight freight handling and SOP adherence.

During the up-to-6-week training, you'll collaborate with NRMs and store leadership to learn strategies that boost sales and profitability, and build a foundation for potential advancement

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
• 3 years of work experience is required; 3 years preferred.
• 3 years of leadership experience is required; 3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates in the selling effort and lead GET culture and set the example.
• Oversee opening, closing MOD and other store-wide responsibilities; enforce company policies and procedures.
• Ensure safety and hazmat procedures are followed by self and associates.
• Plan merchandise placement, signing, and support stock integrity through inventory management.
• Participate in a structured training program covering all aspects of retail store management and leadership development.
