Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking a dynamic Night Manager to oversee overnight operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will manage hotel operations, address guest concerns, and ensure a safe, seamless, and memorable stay for guests and team members.

As Manager on Duty during evening hours, you will lead operations, resolve issues with hospitality-first mindset, and coordinate responses during emergencies while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience required; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally resolve guest concerns and create positive experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Comfort using hotel technology, computers, and communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations during overnight shifts as Manager on Duty and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Resolve guest concerns quickly, professionally, and with a hospitality-first mindset.
• Lead with confidence during emergencies and unexpected situations, making sound decisions to protect guests, team members, and hotel assets.
• Navigate complex guest and team member situations with professionalism, diplomacy, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Champion hotel quality standards through nightly inspections of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
