The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Associate to deliver gracious service and impeccable style. This role requires greeting guests, processing check-ins, handling transactions, and maintaining accurate records while coordinating with housekeeping to ensure room readiness.

We offer competitive pay starts at $18.00 per hour for a full-time, hourly position, with benefits and opportunities for growth within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic math and accounting procedures understanding.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth for overnight check-in.
• Handle guest transactions, phone inquiries, reservations, and provide service overnight.
• Balance daily revenue from rooms, spa, restaurants, and bars.
• Back up computer systems and ensure records are accurate and secure.
• Deposit all transactions and process no-shows, charges, and cancellations.
• Maintain cash control and deposit according to policy.
• Monitor front desk, lobby safety and cleanliness overnight.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Complete shift reports and checklists.
• Support Front Office and Accounting teams as needed.
