The Pfister Hotel is seeking a dedicated security professional to safeguard guests and assets in our premier Milwaukee property. You will patrol, monitor systems, respond to incidents, and assist guests with directions and escorts to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, calm under pressure, and solid report-writing skills, with the ability to work evenings or overnight and lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; interact professionally with guests and responders.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities during emergencies.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills for incident reports.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and incident reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, associates, visitors, and hotel assets.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and emergencies with de-escalation.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest areas, public spaces, and exits.
• Operate security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
• Investigate incidents and document findings with accurate reports.
• Support emergency preparedness and coordination with responders.
• Provide exceptional guest service and operational support, including directions and escorts.
