Job summary

Extended Stay America in Pensacola is seeking a Night Service Representative (Part-Time) to respond to overnight guest needs when the lobby is closed, ensuring courteous, high-quality service and guest satisfaction. The role includes after-hours check-ins and handling key access issues with prompt response within 30 minutes of notification.

You will manage hotel keys, assist with limited check-ins/check-outs, log events, and stay proficient with the property management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to respond to overnight needs within 30 minutes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to operate hotel PMS.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests on call notifications for check-ins, emergencies, noise complaints, and safety issues.
• Maintain control and safeguarding of hotel keys.
• Log keys in and out as needed.
• Check-in/check-out guests: greet, register, assign rooms, collect payments.
• Keep up with hotel policies, training, and safety procedures.
• Report safety concerns per policy.
• Provide directions about amenities and local areas.
• Perform bookkeeping: log events, post payments to folios.
• Maintain proficiency in location computer systems.
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with first responders.
• May cover another hotel in the area if staffing is needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
