Job summary

Hyatt Place Santa Cruz is seeking a Night Manager to welcome guests, support the Front Office Manager, and lead a small team during night shifts.

Responsibilities include front desk transactions, guest service, bar service, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Candidates should have hospitality experience, be able to work weekends/evenings/holidays, and possess basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required, preferably in hospitality.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Strong English language skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist Front Office Manager to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Check-in and check-out using property systems.
• Provide bar service and assist with kitchen as needed.
• Set up and service meetings; assist with staff schedules.
• Lead the team in absence of Front Office Manager.
