Dream Inn Santa Cruz is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service and a welcoming first impression. The role requires handling check-ins/check-outs, guest inquiries, and coordinating with Housekeeping and Reservations to maintain smooth operations.

The position features a 3PM-11PM schedule, in-person work location, and a competitive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans. Experience in hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Front desk responsibilities include check-ins and guest inquiries.
• Must be able to work 3PM-11PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Dream Inn's high service standards behind the front desk.
• Checks in guests by assigning rooms and establishing credit.
• Performs check-outs, audits guest accounts, and processes payments.
• Maintains guest folios by posting charges and credits.
• Coordinates with Housekeeping, Reservations and Bell Desk for smooth room blocks.
• Provides information about the hotel and local services to guests.
• Maintains security guidelines for key control and safekeeping of valuables.
• Offers shipping/receiving services via mail, faxes, messages, and calls.
• Promotes hotel outlets and amenities to guests.
• Ensures equipment is well maintained and reports issues to management/engineering.
• Contributes to a safe work environment and teamwork.
