Job summary

Extended Stay America in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Night Service Representative Part Time to respond to after-hours guest needs and maintain high service standards while the lobby is closed. The role includes checking guests in/out when needed, safeguarding keys, and handling emergencies with professionalism.

You will be onsite and live in a guest room provided as part of employment, on overnight on-call schedule, typically within 30 minutes of notification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in guest services or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and handle guest requests professionally.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests on call for check-ins, maintenance issues, noise complaints, and safety situations.
• Safeguard and manage hotel keys; log keys in and out as needed.
• Organize limited guest check-ins/check-outs, greet and register guests, assign rooms, issue keys, and collect payments when necessary.
• Stay informed about hotel policies, safety procedures, and local information.
• Report safety, guest, and security concerns per policy.
• Provide guests with directions and information about amenities and local attractions.
• Log events and post payments to guest folios as needed.
• Maintain proficiency in location computer and hotel PMS systems.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with first responders when needed.
• Possibly cover other nearby hotels during staffing shortages.
