Job summary

REMPREX, headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, is seeking a Gate Service Representative to support the intermodal trucking community at our Corwith terminal in Chicago. You will perform gate transactions, maintenance, and repairs on Automated Gating System (AGS) equipment, entering data and ensuring safe, efficient, and client-oriented service.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean MVR is required.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to growth.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; basic networking hardware/software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Automated Gating System (AGS) equipment and components.
• Survey, repair, and troubleshoot overall system health and performance.
• Proactively report on system specifications, operations, inventory needs, and site performance.
• Explain site health information and provide technical insight on system repairs to client management.
• Assist in testing new-generation AGS components and provide reliability reports to management.
• Assist with install and commissioning of AGS equipment on site.
• Process gate transactions accurately, entering data for each unit entering/exiting the terminal.
• Maintain a compliant client work environment within REMPREX vehicles and facilities.
