Job summary

REMPREX, INC is seeking a Field Service Technician to support clients across the Chicagoland area, primarily southern Chicagoland and Joliet, IL. You will install, troubleshoot and service automated gate systems, use diagnostics tools, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

This full-time role requires strong electronics knowledge, customer interfacing abilities, and the flexibility to travel and work non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a field service environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC power and networking fundamentals.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Excellent communication and customer interface skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and service technology for automated gate systems.
• Troubleshoot using diagnostics and testing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and address reported issues.
• Coordinate dispatches and prepare work orders and RMA paperwork.
• Provide top‑of‑the‑line customer service to REMPREX clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in lab, vehicle, and warehouse.
• Engage clients and explain repair information and timelines.
