Job summary

Carvana is seeking a safety-focused, full-time associate in Rocklin, CA. You’ll protect associates, customers, and vehicles by monitoring gates, performing safety checks, and enforcing procedures across shifts.

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This hourly role requires physical readiness and a willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-moving setting.
• Ability to build relationships and connect with people quickly.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors and visitors.
• Monitor live cameras and review footage to help prevent incidents.
• De-escalate situations and work with partners to resolve issues.
• Enforce ingress/egress procedures at the gate using SAS App and RFID.
• Document vehicle movement and support safety audits on site.
• Stay trained in first aid, CPR and AED and apply as needed.
• Follow emergency protocols and keep the site operational in weather.
• Drive a safety-first culture by performing safety audits and training others.
