Job summary

AirNet II LLC is seeking a Flight Follower to coordinate and control air transportation within our fleet of Beechcraft Barons and Learjets. You will maintain operational control of flights, communicate customer needs with flight crews, maintenance, and required personnel.

The role requires experience with Part 135 regulations, ability to read aviation weather, and strong communication skills. You will handle trips, logs, permits, and required documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Candidate must be service oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with other employees, customers, and pilots.
• Ability to lift and move 55lbs to 75lbs with reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage trips and logs within the trip building system during shift; communicate turn-over information at end of shift.
• Maintain “Operational Control” protocols and standards as regulated by the FAA.
• Assess crew legality status with regards to flight time and duty limitations.
• Report mechanical delays or conditions of flight to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and take corrective action to minimize delays due to weather, scheduling, operations, crew legality and maintenance problems.
• Disseminate flight release and related documentation to flight crews.
• Monitor flight progress, weather, destination and alternate airport status; initiate amendments as needed.
• Ensure ground handling/services, parking, deicing, fuel, and slots are in order.
• Obtain international over fly and landing permits and complete TSA/Customs requirements.
• Maintain accounting of hazmat shipments for FAA/authorities.
• Maintain and send fuel, trip sheets to Accounting.
• Communicate with pilots and required personnel regarding schedules.
• Provide pricing quotes; complete invoicing with Manager approval.
• Notify personnel regarding delays/issues.
• Additional duties as assigned.
