Job summary

ABX Air, Inc. seeks a Supervisor of Flight Control to oversee daily and nightly flight operations on the 3rd shift. You will coordinate with customers, manage contingency plans, and participate in incident investigations to ensure compliant, safe operations.

The role requires FAA Dispatcher credentials, prior dispatch experience with FAR 121 carriers, and strong communication skills. Candidates must be adaptable, proficient in flight planning tools, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in flight operations and planning.
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher's license or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily and nightly Flight Control operations.
• Coordinate with customers and ABX stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with FARs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop contingency plans for operations and disruptions.
• Review weather and fuel requirements for flight plans.
• Maintain records of normal and non-normal flight operations.
• Interface with customers to coordinate flight control activities.
