ABX Air in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Supervisor of Flight Control to oversee daily and nightly flight operations from a 3rd shift. You will coordinate with customers and contribute to accident/incident investigations, while ensuring compliance with FARs and efficient team operations.

The role requires FAA Dispatcher license, 1 year dispatcher experience (including with ABX), and strong communication skills.

Competenze

Must have HSD/GED.
FAA Aircraft Dispatcher’s license required.
1 year as aircraft dispatcher with FAR 121 carrier, including 1 year with ABX.
1 year computer flight planning experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 lb.

Mansioni

Develop, implement, and manage contingency plans for operations.
Ensure compliance with FARs.
Collect and analyze data for accident/incident investigations.
Maintain records of normal and non-normal flight operations.
Plan and monitor progress of ABX and contract flights; resolve issues as needed.
Perform duties of Flight Operation Officer when required.
Evaluate weather and fuel requirements; daily fuel assessments.
Assess aircraft performance and monitor flight progress.
Ensure proper slots and permits are secured for international flights.
Interface with customers to coordinate flight control operations.
