Job summary

Eastern Airlines Llc in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Flight Follower to support the Director of Operations from the SOC center. You will ensure flights are planned, released, monitored, and concluded safely, coordinating with flight crews, maintenance, and ground operations.

The role requires coordinating with DO and PIC, handling irregular operations, and maintaining communications across departments to ensure safe flight operations and timely turnovers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Valid Dispatcher, Airman's, or ATP Certificate required.
• Successful completion of the Flight Follower Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety by using available resources and making timely decisions.
• Prepare and disseminate the flight release.
• Provide weather information for departure, enroute, and destination.
• Perform flight planning calculations for departure and enroute.
• Coordinate with DO, PIC, and other departments as needed.
• File ATC flight plan prior to departure.
• Monitor flights and maintain Flight Following system.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
• Communicate operational updates to the DO.
