Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation-related environment.
• Coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow defined processes, safety standards, and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and dock-related equipment use.
• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities with priorities.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe issues.
• Collaborate daily with site ops, transportation, yard services, and customers.
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders and maintain customer focus.
• Ensure activities align with guidelines, safety standards, and SWIs.
• Support dock and yard organization per 7S standards.
• Conduct regular visual inspections to identify risks or delays.
• Use Office tools to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership and peers.
