Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard & Dock Coordinator to lead dock activities, ensuring safe trailer movements and efficient yard operations at our facility in the United States.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coordination across operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams, and a strong focus on safety and customer service. You will manage trailer docking, yard flow, and daily priorities while adhering to process guidelines and 7S standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and dock equipment support.
• Primary contact for loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage docking, release, and yard flow with safe procedures.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe issues.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities follow guidelines and 7S standards.
• Provide coverage to site leadership as needed.
