Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations supervisor to oversee delivery activities, guide supervisory staff, and direct drivers. The role focuses on routing, safety, and compliance while optimizing schedules and labor use to meet service goals.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, data-analysis skills, and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Candidates with relevant education in business or supply chain and 1–3 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two- or four-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• One to three years of related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of delivery associates and adherence to SOPs.
• Analyzes live and historical data to optimize delivery plans and on-time service.
• Supervises labor hours and manages within budget.
• Communicates with Sales and Marketing to resolve delivery opportunities or issues.
• Trains and enforces policies including food safety and DOT regulations.
• Creates ad hoc reports to identify improvement areas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accustomed to Sysco technology software.
