Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee delivery staff, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role includes scheduling, budget adherence, asset utilization, and cross-functional coordination with Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities extend to visiting customer locations, resolving delivery issues, and guiding associates through company policies and procedures while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and ensure SOP adherence.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA) and accurate electronic logs.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget and prepare work schedules.
• Coordinate with Safety department for training, accident investigations, and safety inspections.
• Communicate with Sales and Marketing to resolve customer or delivery issues; visit customer locations as needed.
