Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Night Service Representative Part Time to respond to overnight on-call needs when the lobby is closed. You will assist guests with check-ins, access, and safety issues, while maintaining keys control and upholding high service standards.

This onsite role includes lodging in a guest room and being on overnight on-call duty. Responsibilities include handling guest requests, updating records, and ensuring accurate communications.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Document events in writing and prepare routine correspondence.
• Operate the hotel mobile phone.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers. Must be proficient in reading and speaking English.
• Computer skills including the ability to access and accurately input information into a computer system including Microsoft Office Suite and the Hotel PMS system.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests upon call notification for check-ins, emergencies, or safety issues.
• Maintain control of all hotel keys and log keys in and out.
• Organize, confirm, process, and conduct limited guest check-ins/check-outs.
• Keep abreast of hotel policies, training, and safety procedures.
• Ensure safety, guest and security concerns are reported per policy.
• Provide directions and information about amenities and local areas.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks and post payments to guest folios.
