Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to company warehouses and deliver full trailers to yard locations. The role requires operating tandem tractor-trailers, maintaining safety and DOT compliance, and working a Sun–Fri schedule with a 6pm–7pm dispatch.

You will support critical food distribution operations across the network. Minimum qualifications include a CDL-A with doubles endorsement, 12+ months driving experience, and a DOT Health Card.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• 3rd shift schedule: Sun–Thu nights (may vary).
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift up to 60–90 pounds repeatedly.

Responsabilités

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver trailers on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Ensure route paperwork is ready for dispatch.
• Unhook and park equipment as required.
• Maintain safety and security of cargo; report damages.
• Complete daily hours of service logs per DOT and company rules.
