Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards in a safe, timely manner, following DOT regulations. You will operate tandem, tractor, or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes and communicate with customers professionally.

The role requires 21+ with a valid CDL A and Doubles endorsement, minimum 12 months of commercial driving, and ability to lift 60–90 pounds.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR past 3 years.
• Work 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday nights.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and move freight.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and secure trailers and freight; ensure proper loading.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards.
• Drive and deliver trailers per schedule; complete route paperwork.
• Hook/unhook safely; park and store equipment; maintain clean trailers.
• Record hours of service; perform related duties as assigned.
