Job summary

Performance Food Group (Performance Foodservice) is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support its extensive food distribution network. You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations, turn around, and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, complying with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, at least 12 months of commercial driving experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years old and pass licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Must be able to lift 60–90 lbs and work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer on interstate routes safely.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards.
• Document hours of service daily and complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain clean and organized trailers and loading areas.
