Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem or tractor-trailer on intrastate routes, ensuring safe, timely deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include safety checks, securing loads, logging hours, and maintaining clean trailers. Must have CDL A with Doubles Endorsement and meet DOT health requirements.

Qualificações

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Work required 3rd shift schedule, Sunday -Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines; immediately report safety hazards.
• Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
• Ensure all required route paperwork is with tractor trailer load and available to driver on dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines.
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Ensure all equipment and freight are securely locked.
• Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailer and complete paperwork.
• Unload all equipment and remove trash from trailers.
• Complete daily record of hours of service and log per regulations.
• General housekeeping in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clean.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
