Highgate Hotels is seeking a Front Office Agent to deliver attentive and courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. You will respond to guest inquiries, manage reservations, and uphold hotel standards.

The role requires strong communication, a warm demeanor, and proficiency with computer systems. It is based at an on-site front desk, with shifts that include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Computer experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of rates, packages and promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with in-house groups and dates.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Operate the Front Desk computer system and Vision of Check-in procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and balance shift paperwork.
