Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing occupancy. The role requires greeting guests, handling inquiries, and supporting front desk operations with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include operating the PBX, processing reservations, and maintaining communications with guests and staff. Candidates should be able to multitask, work flexible hours, and maintain Highgate standards

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to multitask and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk in line with Highgate Hotel standards.
• Maintain PBX console operation and ensure hotel standards are met.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare shift-related paperwork and assist with guest services as needed.
