Job summary

HHM Hotels in Tampa seeks a proactive Night Auditor to balance revenue, settle daily accounts, maintain financial files, and reset the front desk systems for the next business day while performing Guest Service Agent tasks.

You will handle nightly audits, balance cash, reconcile cards, prepare daily reports, and assist guests with inquiries, check-ins and check-outs. This is an on-site role with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Night audit or accounting experience preferred.
• Computer and arithmetic skills required; Excel experience helpful.
• FSD certification within 90 days of employment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.
• Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.
• Audit and reconcile cashiers.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Input and update financial information into the BRAINS network.
• Check guests in/out and perform Guest Service Agent tasks.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
