Job summary

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is seeking a Night Auditor to complete nightly audit functions and deliver exceptional guest service at the hotel’s front desk. You will assist with check-ins/check-outs, process reservations, and respond to guest inquiries during the overnight shift.

This role emphasizes proactive guest safety, accurate cash handling, and clear communication with Front Office and other hotel departments to ensure a smooth overnight operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle cash and maintain accuracy of cash drawer.
• Availability for overnight shifts and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Complete nightly audit functions and ensure accuracy of balances.
• Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs and process reservations.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Maintain room status inventory and ensure lobby areas are clean and welcoming.
• Communicate shift information to Front Office Manager and other desk staff.
• Prepare express checkout folios and complete required shift paperwork.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure high-quality guest service.
• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests and explain hotel features.
